A Chico Police Department Annual Military Equipment Use Report has been prepared for the timeframe of April 18, 2022, through March 29, 2023. Our council voted to approve the renewal of Chico PD's Military Equipment Use Policy last night. We weren't surprised but we were happy that a council member made a motion to postpone the vote until after the Community engagement meeting and another seconded it. ( We met with these two members and made these requests) . It was denied and then the approval was 5-1 with a council member absent. We had 10 community members speaking up on the item. On to the Community Engagement meeting on April 27th
