We encourage our Chico community to participate in decisions about the scope of local policing, emphasizing transparency and accountability on the part of law enforcement.  We work to educate the public about Chico Police Department policies and practices, as well as policing-related laws and civic actions that affect us.  We work to ensure that officers receive mental health support and training they need to de-escalate critical situations.  We come together in hopes of improving trust and respect between law enforcement and the people they serve.
