CC4J Thanks Governor Newson for Appointing Rob Bonta as CA Attorney General – April 1, 2021

CC4J Letter to Governor Newsom –

March 2, 2021

As we prepared to file a formal complaint with the State Attorney General challenging DA Ramsey's finding that the shooting death of Stephen Vest was justified, we realized that we need more. We need a State Attorney General who will approach such cases with impartiality.  Xavier Becerra demonstrated that he was not impartial in his response to complaints filed by David Phillips and Scott Rushing on behalf of their sons. Our letter asks Newsom to appoint someone who will truly be impartial. We will send this letter to Newsom far and wide, with the goal of helping Californians understand the intricacies of gaining justice in Butte County and in California. Please read the letter. There is detail about DA Ramsey's record.
