Meet the City Council Candidates

Bryce Goldstein

"Our City needs to proactively invest in public safety beyond just policing, while increasing training and accountability for the Police Department."

Monica M. McDaniel

"I also believe that along with the authority to keep the peace, there needs to be transparency and accountability for the choices and behavior of the individuals that work within the police department."

WHO WE ARE

Concerned Community for Justice formed in the summer of 2017 out of a shared concern about officer-involved shooting deaths in our community. Our intention is to work together with law enforcement for the benefit of our city Chico, Butte County and California.

ACTION PLAN

View our 8-point Action Plan. This is a "living document" and is open to change. The changes proposed in our Action Plan will create a culture within the police department that values the dignity of all community members and works to preserve human life.
